Best College Football Stats and Trends Week 4

College Football Stats and Trends Betting Odds

Three weeks down in the college football schedule and now it’s time for some conference play. Last week was the final time that some of these FBS powerhouse teams get to run up the score on some suspect FCS squads. Expect the games to be a lot tighter now and perhaps the UNDER to be trending after this week.

It appears that the books finally got a grasp on the totals for this season. In Week 1, the OVER hit in 63.8 percent of the games, while in Week 2 the UNDER hit at 63.3 percent. Last week, the record was 24-25 for O/U – not much to write home about. However, there has been value in betting dogs in the first three weeks, as favorites are covering in 47.8 percent of games – not crazy, but there’s value. The most interesting trend heading into Week 4 is that for Power 5 conference teams that have played games within their conference thus far, the UNDER has hit in nine of the 13 games.

Without further ado, each and every Thursday, we have the top trends and stats for the top games of the week. I also will be providing my favorite picks based on the data below and last week I went 6-3-1.
